welcome to Gosh Yarn It! Wreaths.

i started this shop a few years ago when making some christmas gifts for family got some serious attention on facebook. i was trying to start a family at this time as well so making these items helped me focus my energy on something different. managing my shop was a happy distraction.

I am SO HAPPY to report, that 4 years later, we will be welcoming our first baby in mid April!

3 years after opening my shop, i still love creating the wreaths and dreaming up the colour combinations. i love looking for the perfect accents to add sparkle and whimsy to them. i love adding new items and designs to my shop and i love working with customers to create custom items that they adore!

is taking my wreaths to a whole new creative level! Sarah is the maker of the fabulous knit wreath covers seen on some of my wreaths. her skill and my creative colour combinations come together to create these wonderfully playful, well crafted, wreath covers.

i have also started to take my wreaths "on the road" so speak. the end of 2013 was a time for real growth for my business as it was first time i was able to get my wreaths out to a couple holiday gift shows. it is exciting to attend these shows and see the public's response to my items. i love my booth set up (as shown the in the photos above). i love giving old items a new life and i am really proud of my little booth. the only thing i can say i don't love, is lugging those heavy *ss doors around! hahaha no pain, no gain though right?!
